We can all look back to her role as Mathilda in The Professional and remember that moment we knew Natalie Portman was destined to star in many more great films.
She’s since been called “the new Audrey Hepburn” and rightly so. Her soft, beautiful features, her unstoppable cinematic range, not to mention her Harvard degree, set her apart from all other actresses, past and present.
It is said she trained for a year to become a ballerina for her role Black Swan. Enjoy this little feature of photographs of Natalie, as well as a home she owned in Manhattan’s Charles St Building by architect Richard Meier.
